What You Get:
3 MDF flagstone bases (1 Manor House, 2 Cottages).
1 MDF upper floor.
4 MDF wall supports.
7 XPS foam wall sections.
600 XPS foam bricks.
2 arched doorways (resin).
1 square doorway (resin).
1 ladder (resin).
1 bag of brown scenic flock.
The MDF bases have a broken flagstone pattern (approx 1" square) engraved on them with an area around the edge to add the walls. The bases for the cottages are approx 195mm x 115mm x 2mm. For the dimensions of the manor house see diagram.
The removable, MDF upper floor has wooden floorboards engraved on it and sits approx 60mm above the ground floor.
The stone textured, XPS wall sections are pre-cut to size with doorways cut out and are ready to be glued onto the wall supports. Approx 70mm high and 10mm thick.
The resin doorways fit the pre-cut openings in the walls and can be glued in place with "no nails" type adhesive.
The 600 grey styrofoam (XPS, extruded polystyrene) bricks have been subtly textured to give a more realistic stone-like appearance.
Each foam brick is 10mm x 10mm and varies in length slightly (approx 15-20mm) so that your model will have a more natural and ancient look to it. These can be used to add extra height, doorways or additional walls.
The bricks and XPS walls can be glued to the base and to each other using any solvent-free glue. "No nails" type of adhesive is ideal although thick PVA or wood glue can be used. Paint your finished models using any water-based acrylic paint. Add the brown scenic flock to the corners and base of the walls for the finishing touch.
The kit is supplied unpainted and requires assembly. Assembly instructions included.
The Ruined Manor House kit and Ruined Cottages kit are also available separately.
